For this project, A farewell publication for a celebration at Allied Media Projects. The zine highlighted memories of a cherished employee. I designed the book cover, back cover and interior.

Objects and Methods: Fist Nyc

These print materials were design for Virginia Commonwealth's Graphic Design Divisions lecture series, Objects, and Method. Visting artist Fist.NYC had a series of three events happening during their stay. Patterns in the design are reflective of their etches work and interest in forms. Three 11 x 17 inches posters were created per event. One 24 x 26 inches poster featured them all.

These fliers were 8.5 x 11 in and hung as a mural within Virginia Commonwealth Universities. Copies were printed various times and repeated to form a large picture.
Concept Design: And Also Too Concept

Working with And Also Too, I was contracted to create a concept design for a series of marketing materials for The Music Gallery's annual festival. The festival wanted to revamp past branding and lean more into experimental graphics.
Branding & Print Design: Detroit Institute of Arts
2016
During my time at the Detroit Institute of Art, I worked with the marketing director to produce both print and digital assets. This includes advertisements in newspapers, website banners, billboards, and social media posts. I also worked with departments across the museum on presentations, curriculum materials, wayfinding, and special projects.
Book Cover Design: Design Justice Zine

This cover design includes custom typography and graphics that represent the community on a molecular level. Initial research focused on proteins and cells.
Branding: Beware of the Dandelion

Working within established branding I produced marketing materials, buttons, and a mini-zine for the event held in Detroit. Graphics on buttons are custom.

Branding: Undergraduate Symposium

This is a co-design for Eastern Michigan University's 35th Undergraduate School. Together we designed branding and applied it across conference media. This included pins, digital and print marketing material, banners, wayfinding, publication design etc. We anchored this design within the concept of pieces coming together to make a whole. As the symposium featured student projects from across the university.
Centric
2015
Centric is an event poster printed 24 x 36 in. This was a personal project that allowed to me explore type manipulations and the translation of sound. Within that, I was interested in pushing past certain design troupes when it comes to the afro-centric event. What would it look like to capture the radiant energy of collective celebration?
